Booking and appointments
How do I book a grooming appointment?
Appointments are made by phone only. Call the shop at (229) 794-5216 Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Our receptionists will find a time that works for you and your dog.
What are your hours?
We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The salon is closed on Sunday and Monday.

What happens if I am late or need to cancel?
For every 15 minutes late to an appointment, a $5 late fee is added (for example, 30 minutes late adds $10). Cancelling a confirmed appointment on the same day adds a $15 fee, and missing a confirmed appointment without notice adds a $25 no-show fee. Same-day cancellation and no-show fees are applied to your next service.
Before your visit
What do I need to bring to my dog's first appointment?
Please bring up-to-date rabies paperwork and be ready to give us your home address. Both are required by the Department of Agriculture for our records.
How should I bring my dog into the shop?
For everyone's safety, please keep your dog leashed, carried or kenneled until they are safely inside the building or securely back in your vehicle.
How can I prepare my dog for grooming?
A short walk and a potty break before you arrive help many dogs settle in. Let us know about any health conditions, skin sensitivities, recent surgeries or behavior concerns when you drop off, and tell us how you would like your dog to look so your groomer can plan the cut.
Services and pricing
What is included in a basic groom?
Each basic groom includes a bath with the right shampoo for your dog's coat, a haircut, nail clipping, ear cleaning and plucking, external anal gland expression and a spritz of pet-safe cologne. See all of our grooming services.
What add-on services do you offer?
You can add nail grinding, teeth brushing, deshedding and clean feet (poodle feet, $12) to any groom. Pictures are taken on request.
Why is there an extra charge for matting or heavy shedding?
Removing mats or a heavy undercoat safely takes extra time and care. A dematting or deshedding fee may apply, and pricing varies with severity. Regular grooming is the best way to avoid these extra charges. Learn why in our guide to the benefits of regular grooming.
Do you have medicated or hypoallergenic shampoo?
Yes. We carry various shampoos, including medicated and hypoallergenic options, and choose the best one for your dog's skin and coat.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and check for your given price. There is a 3.95% processing charge when paying with a credit or debit card.
Pickup and grooming care
How long will my dog be at the salon?
Grooming time depends on your dog's size, coat and condition. We will contact you when your dog is ready. Because space is limited, a $12 day stay fee applies if pickup takes more than 2 hours after we contact you.
How often should my dog be groomed?
It depends on the coat. Many dogs with continuously growing or long coats do well with a groom every four to eight weeks, while short-coated dogs may need a bath and nail trim less often. Ask your groomer for a schedule that suits your dog.
Do you groom all breeds?
Our groomers each have more than five years of professional experience and are familiar with most breeds. Call us to talk about your dog's coat and the style you would like. You can meet our groomers before your visit.
